Born at just 26 weeks with underdeveloped lungs, Charlotte, age 4, spent the first years of her life overcoming challenges most kids never have to face. With the support of her care team at Golisano Children's Hospital of Buffalo (GCH Buffalo) and a life-saving piece of equipment purchased through the Patricia Allen Fund, Charlotte was able to take a major step forward, eventually returning home and continuing to grow into the vibrant girl she is today.

For her Billustration cap, Charlotte chose bright, playful colors to reflect the bubbly personality that has been with her through every stage of her journey. She also included a drawing of lungs, a meaningful tribute to one of the biggest challenges she overcame.

The result is a design filled with optimism, strength, and the unmistakable joy that makes Charlotte shine.
